B-Telecom Inc. (BTI) has initiated the process to build a 22,000 square foot, high-risk, off-site data center within a secured military compound.
After working closely with the Department of Defense, BTI has initiated the construction of it's state-of-the-art data center just outside of Blacksburg Virginia.
This data center will be guarded by the US Army, with a level of security unparalleled in the industry. Yesterday, a BTI spokesperson was quoted as saying, "Today, northern Virginia boasts the highest density of data centers in the world, it soon will also boast the most secure."
The facility is scheduled for completion by 3rd quarter of 2009.
