BTI ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVE

Data centers traditionally have a bad reputation for consuming large amounts of power to both run equipment and maintain an optimal environment.

At BTI, we are committed to changing our industry by revolutionizing the carbon footprint that we leave behind. All of our Data Centers are designed and constructed by BTI Construction – a division specifically engineered to build state of the art data centers. Due to our revolutionary building designs and strategic implementation of modern hardware and software solutions. We have reduced energy consumption by 60% in all of our data storage facilities. In Leetonia, where we are building a massive data farm, we plan
to use several sources of green energy to reduce our electric consumption another 30%. This will allow BTI to run its data storage facilities consuming 90% less power than our competitors.

Wing Energy
40% of Additional Power Reduction:
Our main headquarters sits on top of a large hill, providing enough wind to potentially allow us to use the power grid as a back-up source only.

SOLAR ENERGY
20% of Additional Power Reduction:
On the property of our main headquarters, a south-facing slope provides a natural location for a large solar farm.

GEOTHERMAL COOLING
11% of Additional Power Reduction:
Dispersing heat from our Data Centers into the ground creates a reduction of power needed to cool our facilities.

AQUIFER COOLING
7% of Additional Power Reduction: Drawing cold water from deep under the earth’s surface, and using it to cool the Data Centers creates a reduction of power needed to cool our facilities.
